Trocadero made major menu changes in 2010 and now dubs itself a gastrobar. The wines and cheese are fewer; the bar menu now favors Belgian ales. The menu veers from France and now includes Caribbean, Latin American and Asian touches. Steamed mussels and tuna Nicoise salad remain. The new menu adds Baja fish tacos, shoyu braised short ribs, and jerk shrimp skewers. The Cream City brick corner tavern remains as charming as ever and the enclosed dining porch and outdoor terrace are still prime dining spots. (Jeff Beutner)
