Hat tip to UniWatch for the link, but this article from TwinCities.com talks about Favre's bicep tear and says that Minnesota has nothing to worry about. It reads as though the ink is already dry on the contract.Interesting....

Ed Werner on SportsCenter was talking about Favre looking into surgery for a torn biceps muscle and said that Favre didn't want to do the surgery because he didn't want to go through the 3-6 weeks of rehab. 3-6 weeks!!!! That's a long time, you know? I mean, a month to be pain free for the rest of your life - that's a lot of commitment....

No Wisconsin players were drafted in the first two rounds, but that changed quickly on day two as three Badgers were were picked within a few minutes of each other. Looks like third round was a charm for the Badgers. The Oakland Raiders picked defensive end Matt Shaughnessy with the 71st pick overall. The Detroit Lions selected outside linebacker DeAndre Levy with the 12th pick of the second round....

The Packers cleaned house today, firing six coaches. It's no surprise that Defensive Coordinator Bob Sanders was out the door - his firing was assumed weeks ago. The most ridiculous firing was that of strength and conditioning coach Rock Gullickson.Gullickson was voted by his peers to be one of the best in the business last year, but apparently his failure to buff-up our team is what led to our do...

Stop me if you've heard this one before...The Packers dominate a game, both in points and possession, fail to score all the points they should, have a fourth quarter lead and fail to bring home a victory. I believe yesterday was the sixth loss of four points or less on the season. Had the Packers won just half those games - or really, even just a third - the NFC North playoff picture would look co...

I haven't been blogging on the Packers much lately because I've been struggling to find something - anything - to say about the disappointment this team has levied on their fans, but thus far I've come up empty. Tallying 16 more minutes of possession than your opponent and not coming up with the win? There's no explanation for that. Not that there's been any forthcoming from Ted Thompson and Mike ...
