Today was my one and only down-time day to hang out and watch football games from start to finish and the games were really disappointing. Who would have though that the VA Tech/Cincinnati Orange Bowl would be the best game of the day? Too bad that by the time this game was on, I was burned out on football. The Big Ten is not showing well, notching just one win so far (thanks Iowa!) ESPN is scroll...

I have all kinds of plans to do a season wrap-up, but I'm not ready to yet. It's still not reconciled in my head that we're done with baseball after I'd been to Miller Park for games in 8 straight months. From the kickoff/last spring training games at Miller Park the last weekend in March to Saturday's thrilling Game 3, this has been a fabulously long season and it's quite difficult to imagine tha...

The Brewers continue to battle the Philadelphia Phillies today after successfully avoiding elimination at Miller Park yesterday. Winning today's game will send our hometown heroes back to Philadelphia on Tuesday for a final deciding game. The suspense begins at 12:07 p.m. at Miller Park.

It's late, I've been all over town looking for Packers gear and I have a long 2 days to come, but I was just reading over at Brewer Fan and poster cracklins has coined the best term for Corey Hart's at bats:premature e-bat-ulationClassic.Also, while Prince called himself "garbage" to the post-game media, Corey finally voiced what we all already know:Hart was surrounded by reporters after the game....

Since September 6th, Corey Hart's stats: Batting Average: .132 On Base Percentage: .159 Slugging Percentage: .197 On Base Plus Slugging: .356 Of course, the most shocking numbers are for Rickie Weeks. Sure, his botched routine play at first looks like it might become the Brewers version of Bill Buckner, but despite the feeling that Rickie's getting too much love from the managers, he'...

There's a whole gallery here on the Tribune website, complete with snarky commentary. Remember last week when everyone was making fun of the Dodgers since their record was worse than the 3rd place team in the NL Central. And the Cubs were all cocky - you know, as the Cubs usually are. And now they've lost 2 at home. Today...

After Hart's inning ending groud-into-double-play (GIDP) is there any excuse Sveum can give to justify Corey not only being in the lineup but batting 6th? Anyone who was driving home from work, as I was, and listening to the radio - did you hear how absolutely dissapointed and disgusted Bob Uecker sounded? He just sounded defeated when he pointed out that Corey swung at the first pitch and GI...
