It's warm outside (comparatively), so you'd better enjoy it while it lasts. Take advantage of the unseasonably respite from the bitter cold today at the Milwaukee County Zoo, which hosts one of its regular Family Free Days from 9 until 4:30 p.m.
Two major special exhibits are about to wrap up their run at the Milwaukee Public Museum. The first, Samson Remembered, pays homage to the giant, quirky Milwaukee County Zoo gorilla who died 25 years ago. It features video clips, information on other famous gorillas and the species
in general, and a life-like recreation of Samson. The exhibit ends on Jan. 1.
