The Cardinals completed a sweep of the Brewers yesterday in spectacular fashion, as Albert Pujols, who the Brewers had really held in check over the season series until this point, went 4-for-4 with 5 RBI and two home-runs - including a third-inning grand slam that put the game out of the reach of the Brewers. Thursday's game featured a leadoff home run from Rafeael Furcal (who's hit 5 HR all seas...

Sundays at the ballpark don't get much better in Milwaukee. The Brewers completed a sweep of St. Louis, grabbed first place in the National League Central division and gave fans good reasons to think they'll stay there. And it happened at a pace that got the Observers on the bus home in...

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch first reported that the parameters of a deal were in place, and Suppan's agent, Scott Leventhal, confirmed it to MLB.com. " From what I'm reading, they've agreed to terms but do...

I have now been on the phone for over an hour attempting to speak with someone in order to purchase tickets to visit Busch Stadium in St. Louis over the weekend of May 15-17. Apparently the Cards don't do single game tickets sales in house - they use Tickets.com. After having sat on hold for 15 minutes I hung up and called back to the Stadium. I was then transferred to a ticket office where they t...

Pending physical exam (Ben Sheets will tell you how important that is.)Tom H has the story on his Brewers BlogMelvin confirmed earlier in the day that a deal was in the works and his quotes to Tom H were interesting: I asked Melvin what made the Brewers stray from their previous statements that they didn't plan to sign a pitcher on this market because they'd lose financial flexibility down the roa...
