With Wisconsin’s primary quickly approaching, both Democratic presidential candidates are looking to clock as much time in the state as possible. Tonight, both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will make appearances as the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s Founder’s Day Gala at 6 p.m. at the Midwest Airlines Center.

Republican John McCain makes his first Wisconsin campaign stop tonight. He’ll stop at Serb Hall tonight at 7 p.m. for the Reagan Day Dinner, and on his tail will be the Milwaukee Impeachment Committee, an anti-war group pushing for impeachment proceedings against President Bush. They’ll protest and pamphlet . . .

The Democratic candidates are fighting hard for the Wisconsin vote ahead of our state’s Tuesday primary, and Barack Obama returns to the Milwaukee-area this morning for a “Stand for Change” rally at the Midwest Airlines Center. Doors open at 8:30; the program starts at 10:30 a.m.

Bill Dixon told me that "politics ain't bean bags" and he was correct, but even politics has some rules. The Clintons have always operated as if the rules don't apply to them--especially when running behind. Look at Florida and Michigan. They were told not to move their primary and they did. The candidates agreed not to compete in those two states--delegates won't be seated....
