This picture of Nyjer Morgan from FS Wisconsin is too amazing not to share.   Some fun Deja Vu tonight. Braun hit the home run to beat the Cubs on the final day of the season in 2008 to clinch the NL Wild Card. In 2008 the Brewers beat the Cubs and had to hang around the stadium to wait to watch the Marlins win. Today the Brewers beat the Marlins and had to wait to see the Cubs win.   The Brew...

The Brewers decided to shake things up on their off day by announcing a complete restructuring of their minor league coaching situation. A lot of changes were made, but none are so glaring as the removal of Don Money as AAA manager. Money spent three years as manager of the Sounds and has been in the Brewers minor league system for 14 years. While he was manager, the Sounds has just one winning s...

Well if you ask the St. Louis Cardinals, the Brewers are brash, cocky, mean and generally disrespectful of all things baseball. But in the SI.com player poll that was released last week, Chris Carpenter and Albert Pujols were ranked the seventh and eighth meanest players, while Nyjer Morgan was ranked ninth and Prince Fielder was ranked 13th. The poll was taken of 215 other major league baseball...

As the Brewers have snapped out of their slump and moved their Magic Number below five, they're competing for attention and fans with the other major sports in the state: the Packers and the Badgers. While the Magic Number countdown has made it to the upper corner on the front page of the J-S and Miller Brewery has started projecting images supporting the team on their I-House, the tallest buildin...

Taylor Green became the first player ever to be named the Brewers Minor League Player of the Year twice. He was named top prospect in 2007. The Brewers call these awards Robin Yount Performance Awards. Green had a rough 2008 and 2009 due to injury, so it's especially exciting that he was able to overcome that and return to top status on the team. He is obviously someone the Brewers are interested ...

If you aren't a 20-game, 40-game or season seat holder, or have some sort of inside track to tickets we mortals don't know about, you don't have your hot little mandibles on Brewers post-season tickets. The lottery that the Brewers hold for single-game tickets to post-season games started today. According to a release from a few weeks ago, in 2008, when the Brewers won the Wild Card, they had abou...

Apparently the Brewers really are as loose a clubhouse as the media has been reporting all season. Because today they decided that when in Texas... So they apparently went in groups to buy boots, belt buckles and the whole caboodle to dress as cowboys for their trip from Houston to St. Louis. According to MLB.com writer Adam McCalvy, in 2001 the Brewers did a similiar thing after sweeping the Cubs...

The Cardinals completed a sweep of the Brewers yesterday in spectacular fashion, as Albert Pujols, who the Brewers had really held in check over the season series until this point, went 4-for-4 with 5 RBI and two home-runs - including a third-inning grand slam that put the game out of the reach of the Brewers. Thursday's game featured a leadoff home run from Rafeael Furcal (who's hit 5 HR all seas...
