I'm going to start right out with it: I HATE RALLY TOWELS! I get that they look good on TV, but they are hell to anyone inside the stadium this is actually, you know, trying to watch the game. They consistantly blocked my view of the field. They are in every single one of my pictures. They're stupid. They also prevent people from clapping and I think noise is a much more crucial aspect of a large ...

The greatest sports weekend ever in Wisconsin? It's hard to imagine anything better than what took place as October opened. The Brewers began their quest for the World Series by beating Arizona twice at Miller Park. The Badgers welcomed Nebraska...

The Brewers are continuing to pick up momentum in the post-season media attention race. Small market teams rarely draw the notice of the big outlets, but the fact that they're the only team to start their series 2-0, that Braun's an MVP favorite and Beast Mode seems impossible to ignore, the team has gotten some attention. I've seen a lot of people deciding to adopt the Brewers as "their" postseas...

The Yankees and Tigers were rained out today and have to restart their game tomorrow. Their game for tomorrow has been pushed to Sunday - MLB adjusted the schedule and has moved the Brewers/Diamondbacks game back 30 minutes to accomodate the new schedule.  Sunday's game, Game 3, which had been scheduled for a 3:37 pm CST first pitch, will now kick off at 4:07 pm....

Well it looks like all those stories on Wednesday were for naught, because Zach Greinke has apparently convinced manager Ron Roenicke that he'll be ok to pitch on Sunday, despite throwing 75 pitches in Wednesday's game. Roenicke had said earlier today that it would be up to Greinke to show Roenicke that he was physically able to do it and convince Roenicke to let him pitch on the short rest. While...

Game 1 of NLDS between Brewers and D-backs scheduled for 1:07 pm CT Saturday. Game 2 Sunday @ 3:37 pm CT.   The Saturday start time means that Wisconsin sports fans will not have to choose between the Brewers postseason and the Badgers/Nebraska game that starts at 7pm. Unfortunately, though, they will have to choose on Sunday when the Packers play the Broncos at 3pm. The last time the two played,...

Now that its been decided that the Diamondbacks are coming to Milwaukee, we're looking for game times and pitching matchups. This is prelimary, but it looks like game 1, in Milwaukee, will be Ian Kennedy (21-4, 2.88 ERA) vs Yovani Gallardo (17-10, 3.52 ERA) Game 2, also in Milwaukee, looks to be Daniel Hudson (16-12, 3.40 ERA) vs Shaun Marcum (13-7, 3.54 ERA) Game 3, in Arizona, should be Zach Gre...

The Brewers controlled their own destiny and they didn't let it slip out of their hands tonight. Home runs from Corey Hart, Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Gomez led the Brewers to a 7-3 win over the Pirates to clinch the #2 seed in the NL, giving them home-field advantage. The win was also the Brewers 96th this season, a franchise record. Jose Reyes won the batting title - he sparked some controversy ...

The Brewers' magic number to clinch home-field advantage and the #2 seed in the playoffs is 2. Any combination of Brewers wins and Diamondbacks losses that equals two will give the Brewers the #2 seed in the playoffs and home-field advantage. But, because the Braves and Cardinals are fighting for the NL Wild Card, the Brewers won't know who their opponent will be, even if they do clinch home-field...
