Tonight @ Shank Hall, 9 p.m.

Now that Bono and the Edge are writing the score for the web-slinging Broadway musical Spider-Man, it’ll be interesting to see if the Milwaukee U2 tribute act U2 Zoo starts donning Spider-Man and Green Goblin costumes. The four-piece tribute, named of course for U2’s 1993 live tour “Zoo TV,” has been recreating the sights and sounds of a U2 concert since 2003...

Tonight @ Shank Hall - 9 p.m.

Even those who normally have zero tolerance for cover bands have a soft spot for U2 Zoo, a local group that does a might impressive job recreating the experience of a U2 concert (it helps that their singer actually sounds like Bono). Tonight, the U2 cover group does a free 9 p.m. show at Shank Hall.

Tonight @ the Ale House - 10:00 PM

One of the better local cover bands, U2 Zoo do as good of a job as any mere mortals could at recreating the grandiosity of an actual U2 concert—of course, it helps that their singer actually sounds an awful lot like Bono. Tonight at 10 p.m. the group plays a show at the Ale House, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day . . .
