Last year the Brewers got halfway to the ultimate baseball goal, winning a division championship and a playoff series for the first time in 29 years before falling to St. Louis in the National League Championship Series. This year there are some...

With the Brewers taking on the first-place Reds this week it’s been a good time to take stock of the trade the two teams made a few weeks ago. Looking for more power, the Reds traded for Jim Edmonds. The Brewers got Chris Dickerson in return. Edmonds had seen a lot of time in the field for the Brewers then we would have expected from a fourth outfielder. The trade to a team with post-season h...

Ok, so going to the media and calling another team names isnt exactly the most mature way to handle things, but despite Brandon Phillips playground tactics, well hes got a point. And the ensuing comments and brawl from the Cardinals have gone a long way to proving Phillips point. The Cardinals seem to think that they were named arbiters of all that is good and true about baseball an...

In fact, his run support has dropped 3.07 runs-per-game from last year to this season. The rain-delay information included a note that Mike Cameron jokingly told Parra on the bus yesterday that to get a win he just needed to pitch a shut...

I was at that screaming fast game last night where we had spectacular seats. I'll have pics up tomorrow, since I just put up the Badger pics. *There's a guy on the Reds who's name is Jolbert Cabrera. He's from Columbia. From some reason, his name is pronounced Whole-burt by the PA and on the radio. It's like the name is Spanglish. It's driving me nuts. In Spanish, it would be Whole-bear...
