Center Street Daze
Center Street Daze has traditionally been one of the last Milwaukee street parties of the season, taking place in Riverwest each year in September, sometimes quite late in the month. However admirable its attempts to expand the city’s all-too-brief festival season, though, Center Street Daze often fell on some very cold days, so this year the celebration has moved to a more conventional August date. The tone of the festival should be unchanged, though. It’ll still feature plenty of local music (including performances from Ugly Brothers, Carlos Adames, local punk legends Couch Flambeau and many more) and, more uniquely, a number of tournaments and competitions, including push cart race, a street pool tournament, a dodgeball tournament and a pinball tournament.
