Boris Ostrerov’s Reaching Higher: Stacks and Wasted Series

The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a new exhibition in the center’s Ploch Art Gallery; Milwaukee raised painter Boris Ostrerov’s Reaching Higher: Stacks and Wasted Series will be on view beginning Saturday, June 7 through Wednesday, July 23, 2014.  Reception Friday June 27th.  19805 W Capitol Dr. Brookfield, WI 53045. 

 In this exhibition, Ostrerov presents two bodies of work that make vivid his recurring interest in growth, collapse, precariousness, uncertainty, stability, the process of painting, organization, and accumulation. 

Ostrerov’s exhibition is free and open to the public, Monday – Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. A free artist reception on Friday, June 27 (5:30 – 7:00 pm) is open to the public and offers patrons an opportunity to meet the artist and learn more about his work. The Wilson Center is located in Brookfield’s Mitchell Park off of Capitol Drive, just west of Brookfield Road.
