Women, Nature, Science—Kyoung Ae Cho: One at a Time
Part three of Lynden’s well-received series “Women, Nature, Science” features 24 works by Korean artist and UW-Milwaukee professor Kyoung Ae Cho. Describing her art as “environmental processing,” she works mainly in fiber and mixed media, here including elements ranging from artificial flowers to natural detritus to her own hair. As in the natural world, Cho’s work hinges on gradual accumulation, metamorphosis and recycling.
