Muslim Journeys Book Discussion

 A discussion of Leila Ahmed’s book “A Quiet Revolution” will be held on Sunday, March 30 at 2 pm at the Islamic Resource Center, 5235 S. 27th St., Milwaukee.

The discussion will be led by Anna Mansson McGinty, UWM Associate Professor of Geography and Women’s Studies.

Reading of the book is not required for attending the discussion.

This is the fourth in a series of book discussions on the theme "Muslim Journeys: American Stories," supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association.

The series, free and open to the public, is co-sponsored by the UWM Libraries, the Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition, and UWM Cultures & Communities Program.
