Mount Mary Universityâ€™s Gallery Showcases Best in Contemporary Craft
An exhibition of contemporary fine art by members of the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council (WDCC) will be on display in Mount Mary Universityâ€™s Marian Gallery March 3 - 29. A closing reception will take place on Friday, March 8 from 7-8:30 p.m. Both the exhibit and closing reception are free and open to the public.
The exhibit showcases the best fine craft work by 50 Wisconsin artists and features ceramics, fiber, wood, metal, glass, jewelry, photography and mixed media. Founded in 1916, WDCC is the second oldest craft organization in the nation and the exhibition is the groupâ€™s 82nd annual competition. Learn more at www.wdcc.org<http://www.wdcc.org/>.
Marian Gallery is located on the first floor of Caroline Hall at 2900 N. Menomonee River Parkway and is open Monday â€“ Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
