Baby Wants Candy
The Completely Improvised, Full-band Musical Comedy
Baby Wants Candy ● Saturday, Feb. 8, 7:30 pm
SOUTH MILWAUKEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
Laugh the winter blahs away on Saturday, February 8, when Baby Wants Candy, the Chicago-based, completely improvised, full-band musical comedy is performed live at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center.
At Baby Wants Candy, the audience shouts out a title for a musical that has never been performed before. Accompanied by a full band, the first title that the group hears becomes the title and theme for that evening’s completely improvised 60-minute musical, created on the spot. Laughter ensues, because no matter the topic, the talented Baby Wants Candy performers transform any idea into extreme hilarity.
Baby Wants Candy comedic talent has featured performers Stephnie Weir and Nicole Parker (MadTV), Rachel Dratch and Seth Meyers (SNL), Jack McBrayer (30 Rock), Garry Tallent (Bruce Springsteen and the E St Band), and Mark Pender (Max Weinberg 7), to name a few.
Tickets range from $12-35 for adults and are available from the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center, 901 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee. Box office hours are M-F from 10-4 and one hour before the show. Call (414) 766-5049 or visit www.southmilwaukeepac.org.
