The Scoop on Poop
800 W. Wells Street, Milwaukee, WI, 53233
Gross as it can be to think about, feces sure can be useful. Animals use it to attract partners, send messages and even build homes (and more than a few, as plenty of dog owners know, feed on it). Feces is also an important scientific tool, giving us important insight into the animal that left it behind. Based on the best-selling children’s book, the Milwaukee Public Museum’s The Scoop on Poop exhibit (through Jan.14, 2014) offers a family-friendly tour of animals digestive systems using three-dimensional models, colorful graphics and interactive features.
