Milwaukee Holiday Lights
Through Monday, Dec. 29, Downtown Milwaukee will be adorned with hundreds of wreaths and more than 500,000 lights for its annual holiday display. Pere Marquette Park has been transformed into a celebration of elves, with huge glowing displays of Santa’s toymakers. Zeidler Union Square, meanwhile, has been taken over by funny musical bears, who form an unlikely rock band, while Cathedral Square Park will once again be decorated with ornaments handmade by students at more than 60 Milwaukee-area schools. If you’re traveling from park to park via Wisconsin Avenue, be sure to look up: The intersections have been adorned with grand, glistening chandeliers.
