Racine Theatre Guild Auditions
Open auditions are being held at the Racine Theatre Guild on November 4 and 5
for “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani, a funny, warm and whimsical romantic comedy
set in a small, mythical community. “Almost, Maine” plays at the RTG, 2519
Northwestern Avenue (Highway 38) in Racine, on three weekends, from January
17-February 2, 2014.
The cast will consist of four to six adults, ranging in age from 20s to 40s. All of the actors play multiple roles. Every role is open. Kate Kowbel is the director. In addition to actors, production crew volunteers, with or without experience, are always needed.
To audition, simply report at 7 p.m. on either Monday, November 4, or Tuesday, November 5, to the lobby of the Racine Theatre Guild, a nonprofit community (amateur) theatre located at 2519 Northwestern Avenue. Appointments are not being taken. Auditions consist of cold readings from the script. Scripts are available in advance and may be checked out of the box office with payment of a refundable deposit.
