12 O’Clock Boys
And Milwaukee thought it had problems with cruising. Director Lotfy Nathan’s stunning documentary 12 O’Clock Boys follows the exploits of an inner-city dirt-bike gang that spends its days racing across the streets of Baltimore, landing impossible tricks and making a whole lot of racket (often to the consternation of the police). Told largely through the eyes of a 13-year-old boy who longs to join the riders, the film sheds light on the appeal of street gangs.
