Clarence Bucaro w/ Carbon Leaf
Inspired by quiet types like James Taylor and Van Morrison, Brooklyn singer-songwriter Clarence Bucaro takes a less-is-more approach to his records, letting his songs speak for themselves with little more than a few subtle, Nick Drake-esque accents. That approach pays dividends on his enchanting latest album, Dreaming From the Heart of New York, which was exquisitely produced by Anders Osborne. Bucaro’s smooth vocals and rustic acoustic guitar anchor a collection of folk songs that goes down as soothingly as a cup of hot green tea on a brisk fall day.
