African World Festival
African World Festival will take place August 3, 2013 from Noon – Midnight. The festival is a celebration of African-American heritage and culture held on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan at Henry Maier Festival Park. Since its inception in 1982, the festival’s mission has been to promote and share the culture and heritage of all people of African descent with the global community. Tickets for African World Festival are on sale now for only $12 and can be purchased at Awfmke.com or the African World Festival Offices (275 W. Wisconsin Ave. – Grand Avenue Mall) and over thirteen additional retail outlets with no incremental fees through August 1. Tickets may also be purchased in advance at Ticketmaster.com.
