Good vs. Evil: Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert
While true fans of either chef can pinpoint French chef Ripert as the “good” and bad-boy Bourdain as the “evil” in this event’s overly dramatic title, there’s no real rivalry at play here. As you might expect from chefs who have shared similar careers in the kitchen and on screen, the two share an easy camaraderie, even if they occasionally take gentle jabs at each other. For this event, Bourdain, the author of Kitchen Confidential and host of “No Reservations” and its likeminded continuation “Parts Unknown,” and “Top Chef” cook Eric Ripert will chat about their experiences dining and traveling, and will take audience questions.
