Maude Barlow Lecture and Discussion
Please join the Center for Water Policy and UW-Milwaukee for the event "Water and Climate in the Great Lakes" featuring Maude Barlow, international water rights expert and Great Lakes advocate. The event will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 5:00pm in the Conference Center at Golda Meir Library, UW-Milwaukee.
Maude Barlow is author of more than 10 water-related books including Blue Gold and Blue Covenant: The Global Water Crisis and the Coming Battle for the Right to Water. She is a leading voice for water rights around the world, co-founder of the Blue Planet Project, and director of the International Forum on Globalization.
The distinguished speakers will include include UW-M Provost Britz, and Professor Klump, followed by discussion tables with On the Commons, Riverkeepers, FLOW, Water Table, and other leading regional organizations.
