The words “dubstep” and “violin” may not go hand in hand, but that hasn’t stopped former “America’s Got Talent” contestant Lindsey Stirling from marrying the two. The violinist made a major Internet splash last year with her video for “Crystallize,” which garnered almost 50 million views on YouTube in barely over a year. As her fusion of electronic music and violin has grown in popularity, Stirling expanded her repertoire, moving on from dubstep to create violin medleys of tunes from the “Legend of Zelda” series and Lord of the Rings films.
