Art Exhibition
Shelby Keefe, a Milwaukee-based artist, who describes herself as a Contemporary Impressionist will be the featured artist at The Delafield Arts Center the first quarter of 2013. Keefe’s colorful, award-winning urban landscapes have been included in numerous prestigious national shows. Keefe was the Pfister Hotel’s Artist-In-Residence 2011- 2012.
“We are delighted to be presenting Shelby’s beautiful and bold oil paintings,” said Susie Steiner, DAC Board President, adding, “We especially love her strong selection of colors and composition.” Keefe holds a BFA from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Her paintings can be found in private and corporate collections, such as the Bradley Foundation, WE Energies, University School of Milwaukee and Northwestern Mutual, to name just a few.
Other WI artists whose work the DAC will have on display through March 31, 2013 include Beki Borman, Tiffany, Knopow, Denise Presnell-Weidner and Julie Briede Ibar. The public is invited to an opening reception to meet the new artists on Saturday, January 5 from 3 to 5 p.m.
