Milwaukee Holiday Lights
Downtown Milwaukee Parks
Once again this holiday season Downtown Milwaukee will be adorned with 360 wreaths, 17 Moravian stars and more than 500,000 lights for its annual holiday display. Pere Marquette Park has been transformed into Santa’s Toyland, with animated lights and huge sculptures of toy planes, boats, trains, dolls and a giant teddy bear and puppy. Zeidler Union Square, meanwhile, has been taken over by lively penguins who skate, surf and play hockey, while Cathedral Square Park will be decorated with ornaments handmade by students at more than 60 Milwaukee-area schools. If you’re traveling from park to park via Wisconsin Avenue, be sure to look up: The intersections have been adorned with grand, glistening chandeliers.
