Featuring members of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Antibalas, The Budos Band and El Michels Affair, the Menahan Street Band is a collaboration of musicians brought together by producer Thomas Brenneck. The band creates a unique instrumental soul sound marked by quirky arrangements, pushing rhythms and punchy melodies. The group is in the middle of a tour backing soul man Charles Bradley, but for this show they’ll dig into their own material.
