It’s been a while since Belle & Sebastian last played Milwaukee. A full eight years, to be exact. But the Scottish indie-pop group will make a return on Friday, June 19 when they'll play the Pabst Theater. The group will be supporting their latest album, Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, which, as the title hints, reflects the band’s new-found interest in dance music. They’ll be joined by an exciting opener: Courtney Barnett, the songwriter behind one of this year’s wittiest, best reviewed indie-rock albums: Sometimes I Just Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 17 and are $45.50.
