Milwaukee's Best Landmark
Milwaukee Art Museum
From relatively
modest beginnings, the Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM) has evolved into a
significant institution, periodically mounting challenging exhibitions with
sound scholarship and superb art—pulling from traveling exhibitions, borrowing
from other museums and drawing from its own permanent collection. With the
soaring addition by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, MAM has drawn
worldwide attention for daring design and as a symbol of our city.
