The Kohler center generates thought and discussion on every art medium while their comprehensive educational outreach involves the surrounding communities in both visual and performing arts. Their Arts/Industry Residency program garners admiration throughout the country for allowing artists to create work in the Kohler workshops, which are later exhibited in the gallery.

A few miles to the west in Kohler, Wisconsin, smaller exhibitions are housed at ARTspace, included in the Shops of Woodlake, offering functional, fiber and wearable art for purchase. Only one street away, chic kitchen and bathroom design overflow the multi-level Kohler Design Center with a historic plumbing exhibit on their lower level.  This prestigious legacy allows the Kohler Center to house several pairs of award-winning restrooms, an additional reason to visit this extraordinary Wisconsin art museum where one “expects the unexpected.”
