Lorraine Hansberry's heartbreaking, angry 1959 masterpiece could have been written yesterday. Andre' Lee Ellis decided to revive the historically important work for his company's 18th season “to represent the fact that black families continue to find themselves struggling for acceptance and with the question of just where is the best place to raise a family and include the African-American culture” in their experience. Let's hope the script's renown will help attract a large, multicultural audience.
