Waukesha County's Adaptive Community Approach Playmakers have been staging shows since 2002. The group's goal of increasing awareness of disabilities leads to an interesting synthesis with L. Frank Baum's classic story as a group of disabled people looks to the fabled wizard for help. Featuring music reworked from the original MGM movie version, this original adaptation explores adaptability, accessibility and equality in a production directed by Patty Chones.
