Liz Mistele
Stage Actress
It’s tempting to award this title to Mary MacDonald Kerr, Jacque Troy or
any of a wide selection of well-known Milwaukee
actresses that turned in brilliant appearances this year, but the lesser-known
Liz Mistele has arguably had a better 2010 than any actor in town. Mistele
appeared in at least five shows in 12 months. Whether it’s a sparkling
performance in the periphery of a Windfall Theatre production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters or an aggressive portrayal
of a revolutionary dream figure in Soulstice Theatre’s Love Song, Mistele knows how to make her roles memorable.
